Uses

Catnip Tea

Catnip makes a good cup of tea but is slightly bitter to the point that some people prefer to add a sweetener. Very popular in herbal tea blends.

Try starting out with 1gm of Catnip Leaf per 16 oz of water. Boil the leaf in the water for at least 5 minutes, allow it to cool, and strain out the remaining material. If you would like a stronger or weaker tea you can increase/decrease the amount of leaf used and the amount of time it is boiled in small increments.

Smoking Catnip

Catnip as a long history of use as a smoking herb and is still smoked today. A popular ingredient in herbal smoking blends. The leaf and flower are the parts of the plant most often used for smoking.

Catnip Smudge

Catnip is used in smudging blends and may add a unique aroma to them. Historically, catnip smudge was used in rituals to bring positive energies and assist in someone finding love.
