Dragon’s Blood Incense, derived from the resin of the Daemonorops draco palm, is known for its deep red color and rich, earthy fragrance. This resin is primarily found in Southeast Asia, notably in the islands of Indonesia. It’s obtained by making incisions in the palm’s fruit, from which the red sap oozes and hardens upon exposure to air. Historically, Dragon’s Blood has been used for medicinal purposes and is believed to have anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, and antimicrobial properties. In spiritual practices, it’s used in incense for purification, protection, and to enhance rituals and spells. Its strong, distinctive scent is often used in perfumery and traditional medicine. Dragon’s Blood is also used as a dye and in varnishes due to its vibrant color.

This material has been hand processed to remove any dust and very small pieces which results in the nice clean chucks pictured.
