Sinicuichi leaf makes a good flavored tea. In Mexico and South America it is used as a tea and in herbal tea blends. This is also a possible way to use the herb for supplementation purposes.
Try starting out with 1gm of leaf per 16 oz of water. Boil the material in the water for at least 5 minutes then allow it to cool and strain out the herbs. If you would like a stronger or weaker tea you can increase/decrease the amount of leaf used and the amount of time it is boiled in small increments.
Sinicuichi leaf is a rather harsh smoke. If one were to smoke it they would want to smoke it slowly or possibly blend it with milder flavored herbs or flowers.
Sinicuichi leaf can be used as a relaxing smudge and added to smudging blends.
Heimia Salicifolia is used as an herbal supplement and by natural health practitioners.
