To better use public resources and allow for citizens and police to interact in a positive environment, the city of La Mesa California has created what is affectionately called the Paisan Patrol. During slow times and in high-crime areas, police have started delivering pizzas. According to the citizens of La Mesa the service has been fantastic, and the tip is always on the house!
